A Different Approach To Healthcare

Liberty HealthShare is a non-profit Healthcare Sharing Ministry. We are not insurance, but provide you the opportunity to team with a group of people who share your same Christian values and desire for more affordable healthcare.

Members share one another’s medical expenses. Monthly contributions are voluntary gifts. Liberty HealthShare serves only to facilitate this mutual sharing. We direct your gifts to those who have eligible expenses. Sharing Members regularly participate each month by contributing at least the suggested Monthly Share Amount.

A More Affordable Option

We are proud that Liberty HealthShare is not insurance. We take our commitment to responsibly facilitate our members’ resources very seriously, which is why our community only shares eligible, reasonably priced medical expenses.

The Monthly Share Amount is determined by a majority vote
of the Board of Directors. It is based upon three criteria:

The amount needed to administer the program.

The number of participating members.
If there are any changes to the monthly share, members are given at least 60 days notice. And you can withdraw your membership at any time.

Belong To A Community

By becoming a Liberty HealthShare member, you’ll be part of a group of like-minded people. People who share the same interests and beliefs.

Members highly value the spiritual principle that our bodies are gifts from God. We believe that we must respect and care for our physical bodies. We also have an ethical obligation to our fellow members to live healthy lives and make wise choices so as not to place any unnecessary burdens on those who are sharing with us.

This includes:
  • Refraining from tobacco and drugs
  • Following scriptural guidelines on the use of alcohol
  • Exercising and maintaining a healthy diet

Your healthshare community agrees to share your medical expenses through voluntary giving, not because of legal obligation. As self-pay patients, members are always responsible for their medical bills until sharing takes place.

YOUR HEALTHCARE. YOUR CHOICE.

Liberty HealthShare members have always had the ability to choose their own doctors. That remains true today. Our members have access to a network of more than 900,000 providers while keeping the freedom to choose any provider they wish without penalty.

All our members do when they have medical services is show their Member ID card. There is no need to ask for a discount, submit paperwork with complicated procedure codes, or pay-in-full while waiting for reimbursement. The provider submits the bill to Liberty HealthShare electronically, it is reviewed for eligibility, and then shared with the sharing community.

Our members have 24/7/365 access to online tools to help them choose a provider based on cost, quality, accreditation, specializations, location and more. This gives them the ability to shop around based on their healthcare needs.

In addition to this around-the-clock access, our members have peace of mind. The providers in our network have already agreed to accept fair pricing, so there’s little chance of a balance bill.

Liberty Rise

have their own Liberty Rise membership.

A budget-friendly sharing program ideal for young adults and married couples who don’t have children. Up to $50,000 (per incident or per membership year, whichever occurs first) of medical expenses are eligible for sharing.

Liberty Assist

AUA: $1,500

65+ on Medicare

Sharing amounts are as low as $87/month.

If you’re married: both spouses need to have their own Liberty Assist membership.

For people 65 and older already enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B. It can help you fill the gaps in your medical coverage and control your medical expenses with minimal stipulations.

There are $75 annual renewal dues for all six programs. But it feels good knowing that the money you’re sharing not only helps your family’s bottom line but your whole community as well, providing them the support they need.
