Who We Are
Liberty HealthShare is a faith-based non-profit organization that facilitates the sharing of eligible medical expenses between members. We are a community-driven healthsharing ministry, founded on the biblical principle of members sharing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) and on a mission to empower like-minded individuals and families to take charge of their healthcare journey.
-
What We Do
Liberty HealthShare is a healthsharing facilitator. Our members voluntarily share into each other’s eligible medical expenses as a sustainable and affordable alternative to health insurance.
In addition to enabling the voluntary sharing between members, we provide a structure of care and encouragement. Liberty HealthShare cares about the health of the whole person, and we don’t compromise on caring for every aspect of our members along their healthcare journey. -
How It Works
Liberty HealthShare members sign up for one of six healthcare sharing programs. Members then voluntarily contribute a monthly share amount.
When a member has a medical need that is eligible for sharing, Liberty HealthShare facilitates the sharing of funds between members. Liberty HealthShare is not insurance – it is a healthcare sharing ministry. Members use their ShareBox to access transparent and up-to-date information about the sharing process. -
Why We're Different
Liberty HealthShare is a faith-based non-profit organization on a mission to spread the good news of the Gospel through the work of the ministry.
We believe healthcare freedom is a fundamental right of conscience. We don’t limit our members to a network of providers, and we truly believe that each person’s healthcare choices should be their own to make.
Most importantly, we are a member-led community. We believe the healthcare journey is strengthened as a shared experience between like-minded individuals, and we empower our members to support one another, and themselves, on that journey.
